Step one is attaching the brackets to the inside of the window or the wall. The brackets will be labelled “right” and “left” and they must be screwed into the inside of the window frame or the wall. Next you will place the wooden blinds rod in the opening of the end brackets. The blinds should slide into place quite easily and the brackets should have no difficulty supporting their weight.
